Personal Belongings/Food:

  • Due to the recommendations with Covid 19 and for the safety of our team, we strongly discourage bringing pets beds, blankets, bowls, and cloth toys.  We have plenty of bedding and bowls for your pet to use while staying with us.
  • We provide a Sensitive Skin and Stomach diet for your pet while staying with us.  However, if you choose to bring your pets' food from home, meals should be individually measured, packed, and labeled to ensure we have plenty of your pets' food for the course of their stay; canned diets do not need to be measured into individual meals.
  • Cats should be dropped off in a carrier and collars removed.  We will keep the carrier at our office to use at pick-up.
  • Collars, harnesses, pet-clothing, and leashes should be removed and taken home at drop off.  Harnesses may be left with your pet if medically necessary.
  • All medication should be clearly labeled and have detailed instructions.  Please indicate when the next dose is due to be given when dropping off your pet.

Drop-Off / Pick-Up Procedures:

DROP-OFF
  • Please call 15-20 minutes prior to arrival to let us know you are on the way so we can be prepared for you.
  • Upon arrival, please remain in your car and call us at 704-636-3408 to let us know that you have arrived.
    • If you have not signed an ANNUAL consent form for your pet for 2020, you will be directed by our reception team to come to the reception desk to do so prior to dropping your pet off.  Please leave your pet(s) in the car during this time.
      • This consent form is available to be filled out online by clicking the button below.
  • You will be instructed by our reception team to drive to the back of our building to drop your pet(s) off on our turfed and enclosed area where our kennel team will be waiting with further instructions.  The goal of this is to decrease congestion in our reception area as well as provide a place for your pet(s), primarily dogs, to become acclimated and use the restroom before being set up in their assigned kennel.  This also allows our team and pet parents to maintain a 6-foot social distance in an open and well ventilated area.
    • Pet parents should bring their pet(s) and belongings (if applicable) into an appropriate turfed area.  A bin will be provided for you to place any belongings, including food or medications into.  Collars, harnesses, clothing, and leashes should be removed from your pet(s) and taken home.  Once this has been done, close the gate an leave your pet on the turfed area.  Our kennel team will see to their needs from that point.
